UPSTANDING MEN Take the Stand
Give

Fund the Stand.
Get more guys home.

Most guys already want to step in. What they lack is the words, the practice and backup. Your gift puts real training, real experts and real gear in front of young men, in schools, teams and chapters, before the night it matters.

Where it goes

Education

Workshops for high school and college groups built on the five Standards, plus First Reply practice scenarios young men can run on their phones.

Experts

Licensed psychologists and prevention researchers who write and review everything we teach, so it's accurate, safe and grounded in what works.

Coaches

Training and stipends for coaches, captains and chapter leaders who carry the Standard into locker rooms and houses week after week.

Gear

Free pledge kits: the Hidden Pledge wristband and a sticker, mailed to every young man who takes the Stand. The reminder he wears.

Our promise

  • We publish where the money goes, every quarter.
  • We never sell or share donor information.
  • Monthly gifts can be changed or cancelled any time.
  • Giving is for adults. Young men can support the movement by taking the Stand and bringing a friend.

Tax status: Upstanding Men is not yet a registered 501(c)(3) charity, so gifts are not currently tax-deductible. We'll update this page when that changes.

Give your expertise

Your skills count too.

We're building a bench of psychologists, counselors, prevention researchers, coaches and educators who review content, lead workshops and advise the movement. A few hours a month changes what thousands of young men hear.

Other ways to give

  • Outfit your team. Buy Standard wristbands and gear for your team, chapter or class at cost. Email give@upstandingmen.org.
  • Host a workshop. Bring the Standard to your school, club or house.
  • Spread it. Share the pledge. One guy who takes the Stand usually brings two more.

Questions

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Not yet. Upstanding Men is not a registered 501(c)(3) today. If that changes we'll say so here and on your receipt.

How do I change or cancel a monthly gift?

Every receipt includes a link to manage your gift. You can also email give@upstandingmen.org and we'll take care of it within two business days.

Where exactly does the money go?

To the four funds above: education, experts, coaches and gear. We publish a plain-English breakdown every quarter.

Can I give in someone's honor?

Yes. Add their name in the form and we'll include it on your receipt.
